Summer Fixture List
I have loaded up the above list into the Events Page so that our athletes can see what is available to them throughout the summer months. You must pre-register for the Highland Game Competitions at least 7 days prior to the event. Bob is running the fun athletics Startrack events over the summer holidays for 8 to 12 year olds. Follow the link to the Run Jump and Throw site in our links page for more details.
There are also the DunRen Open Graded meetings at Linwood on 07 Aug and Wed 6pm, 08 Sep. £2 per event and £1 Adult entry. Bob has further details and would be willing to give support to our athletes. Follow the link in Events page for more details.
Is anyone interested in competing in the Inverkeithing Highland Games on Sat 7th Aug? if so, please look at the information in the Events Page.
New Photographs
A big well done and thank you goes out to Erin, Emily, Hannah and Shona for a fantastic effort in the Polaroid 5k Fun Run on Sunday, you were all in the top 20 out of a field of 102. You all did brilliantly and I'm very proud of you all. And not forgetting all our other club members that competed in the Polaroid School run, you all did well. Follow the link for more pics.
To Lynsey and Cammy, on successfully passing their Level 2 Coaching Course from all at the club.
To Nicole Kilgallon who won the Gold, and Yasmeen Kofi who won the Silver (both pictured above) in the 600mtr Schools Indoor Championship.
I intend to start a weekend endurance training session. This will involve running approx 5 - 7k per session, either from Levengrove or Balloch Parks. Dependent on the number of athletes that are interested in doing them, see David for more info.
